In wet weather, what time gap should you leave behind the vehicle in front?

- At least four secondsCorrect

- The same two seconds as in the dry
Why?
Rule 126 of The Highway Code says to leave a two-second gap in the dry, but at least double it in the wet. That makes it a four-second gap, because in the wet your stopping distance is at least doubled.
