You reach a yellow box junction, but traffic ahead means your exit road is blocked. What should you do?
وصلت إلى تقاطع بصندوق أصفر (box junction)، لكن السير أمامك يجعل طريق خروجك مسدوداً. ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟
- Wait before the box until your exit is clearانتظر قبل الصندوق حتى يخلو طريق خروجكإجابة صحيحة
- Enter the box and stop inside it to hold your placeادخل الصندوق وتوقف داخله لتحجز مكانك
- Drive into the box and edge forward slowlyادخل الصندوق وتقدّم ببطء
- Cross the box quickly before the gap closesاعبر الصندوق بسرعة قبل أن تُغلق الفسحة
لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 174 على أنه يجب ألّا (MUST NOT) تدخل صندوق التقاطع حتى يخلو طريق أو مسار خروجك. الانتظار قبل الصندوق يبقي التقاطع خالياً للسير العابر وهو أكثر مراعاة للآخرين.
Rule 174 says you MUST NOT enter a box junction until your exit road or lane is clear. Waiting before the box keeps the junction free for traffic crossing it and is more considerate to others.
