لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 219 على ألّا تُصاب بالذعر عند اقتراب مركبة طوارئ؛ فكّر في مسارها واتخذ الإجراء المناسب لتتركها تمر. لا تتوقف في مكان خطر كمنعطف، ولا تعرّض نفسك أو الآخرين للخطر لإفساح المجال.
Rule 219 says do not panic when an emergency vehicle approaches; consider its route and take appropriate action to let it pass. Do not stop somewhere dangerous, such as on a bend, and never endanger yourself or others to make way.
