On a narrow single-track road you meet an oncoming vehicle, and the nearest passing place is behind you. What is the considerate thing to do?
على طريق ضيق أحادي المسار قابلت مركبة قادمة، وأقرب مكان تجاوز (passing place) يقع خلفك. ما التصرف المراعي؟
- Reverse back to the passing place to let them byتراجع إلى مكان التجاوز لتتركها تمرإجابة صحيحة
- Insist the other driver reverses insteadأصرّ على أن يتراجع السائق الآخر بدلاً منك
- Stay put and wait for them to give upابقَ مكانك وانتظر حتى يستسلم

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 155 على أنه في الطرق الأحادية المسار ينبغي أن تكون مستعداً للتراجع إلى مكان تجاوز حتى تتمكن المركبات من المرور. وإذا كان مكان التجاوز خلفك، فإن التراجع إليه غالباً ما يكون الطريقة الأأمن والأكثر مراعاة لإبقاء حركة السير مستمرة.
Rule 155 says on single-track roads you should be ready to reverse to a passing place so vehicles can pass. If the passing place is behind you, backing up to it is often the safest and most considerate way to keep traffic moving.
