On a narrow single-track road you meet an oncoming vehicle, and the nearest passing place is behind you. What is the considerate thing to do?
- Reverse back to the passing place to let them byCorrect

- Stay put and wait for them to give up
- Drive forward onto the verge to force past
Why?
Rule 155 says on single-track roads you should be ready to reverse to a passing place so vehicles can pass. If the passing place is behind you, backing up to it is often the safest and most considerate way to keep traffic moving.
