You are stuck in queuing traffic that has not moved for several minutes. What is the sensible thing to do?

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 123 من قانون الطريق على أنه يجب ألّا تترك محرك المركبة يعمل دون داعٍ وهي متوقّفة. فإن كان يُرجّح أن تنتظر أكثر من دقيقتين، فإطفاء المحرك يقلّل العوادم والضجيج ويوفّر الوقود. افعل ذلك فقط عندما يكون آمناً.
Rule 123 of The Highway Code says you should not leave a vehicle's engine running unnecessarily while it is stationary. If you are likely to be held up for more than a couple of minutes, switching off reduces fumes and noise and saves fuel. Only do this when it is safe.
