When are you allowed to use your hazard warning lights while driving?

لماذا؟
أضواء التحذير هي تنبيه وليست ذريعة للتوقف في مكان ممنوع. تنص القاعدة 116 من قانون الطريق على أنه يجوز استخدامها أثناء الحركة فقط على الطريق السريع (motorway) أو الطريق المزدوج (dual carriageway) لتحذير السائقين خلفك من خطر أو ازدحام في الأمام. وفي غير ذلك تُستخدم فقط عند التوقف والتسبب في إعاقة المرور.
Hazard warning lights are a warning, not an excuse to park where you should not. Rule 116 of The Highway Code says you may use them while moving only on a motorway or unrestricted dual carriageway to warn drivers behind of a hazard or queue ahead. Otherwise use them only when stopped and causing an obstruction.
