When you turn the ignition on, several warning lights come on. What should normally happen next?

- They should all stay on while you driveأن تبقى كلها مضيئة أثناء القيادة

لماذا؟
تُجري الأضواء فحصًا ذاتيًا عند التشغيل. يوضّح الملحق السادس (Annex 6) من قانون الطريق أن هذه الأضواء تضيء مع مفتاح التشغيل لكن يجب أن تنطفئ بعد دوران المحرك، باستثناء ضوء فرملة اليد (handbrake)؛ والضوء الذي يبقى مضيئًا يدل على عطل.
The lights do a self-check when you switch on. Annex 6 of The Highway Code explains that these warning lights come on with the ignition but should go out once the engine is running, except the handbrake (parking brake) warning light; a light that stays on points to a fault.
