لماذا؟
أضواء الضباب ساطعة جداً ويمكن أن تُبهر السائقين خلفك وتُخفي أضواء الفرامل بمجرد أن تتحسّن الرؤية. تنص القاعدة 236 من قانون الطريق على وجوب إطفاء أضواء الضباب الأمامية والخلفية بمجرد تحسّن الرؤية، واستخدامها فقط عندما تنخفض الرؤية إلى 100 متر أو أقل.
Fog lights are very bright and can dazzle drivers behind you and hide your brake lights once visibility is no longer poor. Rule 236 of The Highway Code says you must switch off front and rear fog lights as soon as visibility improves, using them only when visibility drops to 100 metres or less.
