لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 231 من قانون الطريق على أنه في الطقس الثلجي أو الجليدي تقود بسرعة بطيئة وبأعلى ترس ممكن (higher gear)، وتتسارع وتكبح برفق شديد، حتى يقلّ احتمال دوران العجلات وفقدانها التماسك.
Rule 231 of The Highway Code says that in icy or snowy weather you should drive at a slow speed in as high a gear as possible and accelerate and brake very gently, so the tyres are less likely to spin and lose grip.
