You're towing a trailer and it begins to swing from side to side (snaking). What should you do?
أنت تقطر مقطورة (trailer) وبدأت تتمايل من جانب إلى آخر (snaking). ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟
- Brake hard to stop the swinging quicklyاكبح بقوة لإيقاف التمايل بسرعة

لماذا؟
إذا بدأت المقطورة (trailer) بالتمايل، فإن أأمن تصرّف هو رفع القدم عن دوّاسة الوقود وترك السرعة تنخفض ببطء. أما الكبح بقوة أو إدارة المقود بحدّة فقد يزيد التمايل سوءاً ويفقدك السيطرة. ويساعد تركيب مثبّت (stabiliser) على منع التمايل. وتتناول القاعدتان 98 و160 من قانون الطريق القطر بأمان والحفاظ على السيطرة الكاملة.
If a trailer starts to snake, the safest response is to ease off the accelerator and let your speed drop slowly. Braking hard or steering sharply can make the swinging worse and cause you to lose control. Fitting a stabiliser helps prevent snaking. Rules 98 and 160 of The Highway Code cover towing safely and keeping full control.
