Drive on because you are already moving
Expect the oncoming driver to reverse for you
Sound your horn and squeeze through the gap
Give way to the oncoming vehicle before passing

Why?

Rule 163 says you should give way to oncoming vehicles before passing parked vehicles or other obstructions on your side of the road. The obstruction is on your side, so it is your job to wait, not theirs.
