What do you normally need in order to tax your vehicle online?
- A recent photograph of the car
- A reference number from a DVLA reminder or your V5CCorrect
- A letter from your employer
- A copy of your school certificates
Why?
To tax a vehicle you normally use the reference number from a DVLA reminder (V11) or from your V5C registration certificate. The vehicle must also be insured, and have a valid MOT if it needs one. Vehicle tax is one of the documents in Annex 3 of The Highway Code.
