What does this sign mean?
- There is a right bend ahead
- You must turn right ahead
- You must not turn rightCorrect
- No U-turns are allowed
Why?
The red ring and red bar across the arrow make this a prohibition: no right turn. It often protects a junction where turning across oncoming traffic would be dangerous. Rule 109 of The Highway Code says you must obey signs that give orders.
