You sell your car to another person. What must you do with the vehicle registration certificate (V5C)?

لماذا؟
تُظهر شهادة تسجيل المركبة (V5C) من هو المسجَّل كحائز للمركبة. يوضّح الملحق الثالث (Annex 3) من قانون الطريق أنه عند بيع مركبة، يجب إبلاغ هيئة الترخيص DVLA بتغيير الحائز عبر تعبئة القسم المخصص من شهادة V5C وإرساله، حتى يبقى التسجيل دقيقاً ومحدَّثاً.
The V5C registration certificate shows who is registered as the vehicle's keeper. Annex 3 of The Highway Code explains that when you sell a vehicle, you must notify the DVLA of the change of keeper by completing and sending the relevant part of the V5C, so the registration stays accurate and up to date.
