Your car has broken down on an ordinary road. Where should you place a warning triangle?
تعطّلت سيارتك على طريق عادي. أين يجب أن تضع مثلث التحذير (warning triangle)؟

لماذا؟
يُنبّه مثلث التحذير (warning triangle) السائقين خلفك إلى وجود خطر أمامهم في وقت كافٍ. تنص القاعدة 274 من قانون الطريق على وضعه على بُعد 45 متراً (147 قدماً) على الأقل خلف مركبتك على نفس جانب الطريق. ويجب ألّا تستخدمه أبداً على الطريق السريع (motorway)، لأن السير على المسار خطير جداً.
A warning triangle lets drivers behind you know there is a hazard ahead in good time. Rule 274 of The Highway Code says to place it at least 45 metres (147 feet) behind your vehicle on the same side of the road. You must never use one on a motorway, because walking on the carriageway is far too dangerous.
