You are first to arrive at a crash. Using the first-aid check DR ABC, what must you do before you touch any casualty?

لماذا؟
روتين الإسعافات الأولية في الملحق السابع (Annex 7) من قانون الطريق هو (DR ABC)، وحرف الـ D يعني الخطر (Danger). قبل مساعدة أي شخص يجب أن تتأكد أن الموقع آمن، مثلاً بإطفاء المحركات وتحذير حركة السير، حتى لا تصبح أنت نفسك مصاباً.
The first-aid routine in Annex 7 of The Highway Code is DR ABC, and the 'D' stands for Danger. Before you help anyone you must make sure the scene is safe, for example by switching off engines and warning other traffic, so you don't become a casualty yourself.
