An unconscious casualty is not breathing well. How should you open their airway?
مصاب فاقد للوعي ولا يتنفّس جيداً. كيف يجب أن تفتح مجرى الهواء لديه؟
- Press firmly on their chestاضغط بقوة على صدره

لماذا؟
حرف الـ A في (DR ABC) يعني مجرى الهواء (Airway). ينص الملحق السابع (Annex 7) من قانون الطريق على أن فتح مجرى الهواء لمصاب فاقد للوعي يكون بوضع أصابعك تحت ذقنه ورفعها إلى الأمام. هذا يمنع اللسان من سدّ الحلق حتى يصل الهواء إلى الرئتين.
The 'A' in DR ABC stands for Airway. Annex 7 of The Highway Code says that to open an unconscious casualty's airway you place your fingers under their chin and lift it forward. This stops the tongue from blocking the throat so air can reach the lungs.
