A casualty is unconscious but breathing normally and has no other life-threatening injury. What should you do?
مصاب فاقد للوعي لكنه يتنفّس بشكل طبيعي وليست لديه إصابة أخرى تهدّد حياته. ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟
- Sit them upright against a wallأجلسه منتصباً مسنداً إلى جدار
- Keep them flat on their back and give them a drinkأبقِه مستلقياً على ظهره وأعطِه مشروباً
- Walk them around to keep them awakeامشِ به ليبقى مستيقظاً

لماذا؟
ينص الملحق السابع (Annex 7) من قانون الطريق على أن المصاب الفاقد للوعي الذي يتنفّس يجب أن يوضع في وضعية الإفاقة (recovery position). فالاستلقاء على الجانب يُبقي مجرى الهواء مفتوحاً ويسمح للسوائل بالخروج من الفم، ما يقلّل خطر الاختناق أثناء انتظار الإسعاف.
Annex 7 of The Highway Code says an unconscious casualty who is breathing should be placed in the recovery position. Lying on their side keeps the airway open and lets any fluid drain from the mouth, which lowers the risk of choking while you wait for the ambulance.
