You have opened an unconscious casualty's airway. How long should you check to see if they are breathing normally?

لماذا؟
حرف الـ B في (DR ABC) يعني التنفّس (Breathing). ينص الملحق السابع (Annex 7) من قانون الطريق على أنه بعد فتح مجرى الهواء يجب أن تتحقّق من التنفّس الطبيعي لمدة تصل إلى 10 ثوانٍ بالنظر والإصغاء والإحساس. وإن لم يكن يتنفّس، تبدأ الضغط على الصدر.
The 'B' in DR ABC stands for Breathing. Annex 7 of The Highway Code says that once the airway is open you should check for normal breathing for up to 10 seconds by looking, listening and feeling. If they are not breathing, you begin chest compressions.
