You stop to help at a crash scene. What is the best way to deal with danger first?

لماذا؟
ينص الملحق السابع (Annex 7) من قانون الطريق على أن الخطوة الأولى هي التعامل مع الخطر. أطفئ جميع المحركات، وحذّر حركة السير، وتأكّد ألّا يدخّن أحد، لأن الوقود المنسكب يشتعل بسهولة. فجعل الموقع آمناً يحمي المصابين وكل من يساعد.
Annex 7 of The Highway Code says the first step is to deal with danger. Switch off all engines, warn other traffic, and make sure nobody smokes, because spilt fuel can catch fire easily. Making the scene safe protects the casualties and everyone helping.
