لماذا؟
تُصدر السيارات الكهربائية والهجينة ضجيجًا قليلًا جدًا عند السرعات المنخفضة، لذا قد لا ينتبه الناس لاقترابك. تنص القاعدة 125 من قانون الطريق على أن تخفّض سرعتك عند مشاركة الطريق مع المشاة الذين قد لا يسمعون مركبة هادئة.
Electric and hybrid cars make very little noise at low speed, so people may not notice you approaching. Rule 125 of The Highway Code says you should reduce your speed when sharing the road with pedestrians, who may not be able to hear a quiet vehicle.
