Why must your headlights be correctly adjusted?

لماذا؟
المصابيح الموجّهة عاليًا قد تبهر السائقين القادمين وتسبّب حادثًا. ينص الملحق السادس (Annex 6) من قانون الطريق على وجوب ضبط المصابيح بشكل صحيح كي لا تبهر (dazzle) مستخدمي الطريق الآخرين، مع إضاءة الطريق أمامك.
Lights aimed too high can blind oncoming drivers and cause a crash. Annex 6 of The Highway Code says lights must be properly adjusted so they do not dazzle other road users, while still lighting the road ahead for you.
