Your car has anti-lock brakes (ABS). On a loose gravel or snow-covered road, what should you remember?

- ABS will always stop you in a shorter distanceأن (ABS) سيوقفك دائمًا في مسافة أقصر

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 120 من قانون الطريق على أن فائدة (ABS) قد تقلّ على الأسطح المفكوكة أو الزلقة، وأنه لا يضمن مسافة توقّف أقصر. قُد وفق الظروف، وأبطئ، واترك مسافة أكبر بكثير.
Rule 120 of The Highway Code notes that the safety benefits of ABS can be reduced on loose or slippery surfaces, and it does not guarantee a shorter stopping distance. Drive to the conditions, slow down and leave a much larger gap.
