You have placed a heavy box on the roof rack. How should you tie it down?
وضعت صندوقاً ثقيلاً على حمّالة السقف (roof rack). كيف يجب أن تربطه؟
- With one strap in the middle onlyبحزام واحد في الوسط فقط
- Loosely, so it can settle as you driveبشكل مرتخٍ، كي يستقرّ أثناء القيادة
- Firmly at the front and rear so it cannot slideبإحكام من الأمام والخلف كي لا ينزلقإجابة صحيحة

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 98 من قانون الطريق على وجوب تثبيت الحمولة بحيث لا تتحرك أو تسقط. اربط حمولة السقف بإحكام من الأمام والخلف كليهما، كي لا يقذفها الكبح الشديد إلى الأمام ولا يُزلقها التسارع إلى الخلف عن الحمّالة.
Rule 98 of The Highway Code says a load must be secured so it cannot move or fall off. Tie a roof load firmly at both the front and the rear so that hard braking cannot throw it forward and acceleration cannot slide it back off the rack.
