You have just moved to Great Britain with a driving licence from another country. How long can you usually drive here on it?

Why?
If you become resident in Great Britain with a licence from most other countries, you can usually drive here for up to 12 months. After that you must exchange it for a GB licence or pass a GB driving test. Holding the right valid licence is part of the document rules in Annex 3 of The Highway Code.
