Why?

Rule 265 of The Highway Code says the right-hand lane of a motorway with three or more lanes must not be used by goods vehicles over 7.5 tonnes, vehicles towing a trailer, or larger buses and coaches. Heavy lorries must keep to the left or middle lanes.
