Bicycles on a rear-mounted rack hide your number plate and rear lights. What must you do?
الدرّاجات على حمّالة خلفية (bike rack) تحجب لوحة أرقامك وأضواءك الخلفية. ماذا يجب أن تفعل؟
- Drive only in daylight to avoid the problemقُد في النهار فقط لتجنّب المشكلة

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 98 من قانون الطريق على أن حمولتك يجب ألّا تجعل المركبة غير صالحة للسير أو تحجب أضواءك ولوحة أرقامك. فإذا غطّتها حمّالة الدرّاجات، يجب أن تركّب لوحة إضاءة (lighting board) تكرّر لوحة الأرقام (number plate) والأضواء الخلفية كي يرى الآخرون إشاراتك.
Rule 98 of The Highway Code says your load must not make the vehicle unroadworthy or hide your lights and number plate. If a bike rack covers them, you must fit a lighting board that repeats the number plate and rear lights so others can see your signals.
