You are carrying a ladder that projects more than one metre beyond the back of your car. What must you do with the end?
تحمل سُلّماً يبرز أكثر من متر واحد خلف سيارتك. ماذا يجب أن تفعل بطرفه؟

لماذا؟
تنص القاعدة 98 من قانون الطريق على أن الحمولة يجب ألّا تبرز بشكل خطر وأن تُجعل ظاهرة. فقانوناً يجب أن تُعلَّم بوضوح الحمولة البارزة أكثر من متر واحد في الخلف، مثلاً براية أو مادّة زاهية (flag)، كي يراها الآخرون؛ وبعد المترين تلزم لوحات علامات (marker boards) مناسبة.
Rule 98 of The Highway Code says a load must not stick out dangerously and must be made visible. By law a load projecting more than one metre at the rear must be clearly marked, for example with a bright flag or material, so others can see it; beyond two metres, proper marker boards are required.
