You're behind a car clearly displaying a green 'P' plate. How should this affect your driving?
- Overtake as soon as possible, since new drivers are slower

Why?
A green 'P' plate shows a newly qualified driver. Rule 147 of The Highway Code asks you to be considerate towards other road users, including learners and new drivers, and never to react aggressively to their hesitation. Give them more room and time to make decisions.
