Attitude
You are dazzled by the headlights of an oncoming vehicle at night. What is the safest action?
- Look straight into their lights to keep watching them
- Flash your own full beam back at them
- Speed up to get past the bright lights sooner
- Slow down and, if necessary, stop until you can seeCorrect
Why?
Rule 115 says that if you are dazzled by oncoming headlights, you should slow down and, if necessary, stop. Looking at the lights or speeding up leaves you driving while you cannot see the road clearly.
