From what age must a driver renew their driving licence more often, and how often?

From age 60, every year
From age 70, every 3 years
Correct
From age 65, every 5 years
Drivers never have to renew after passing

Why?

When you reach 70 your driving licence expires and you must renew it, and then renew it every 3 years after that. There is no upper age limit for driving as long as you keep renewing and stay medically fit. Keeping a valid licence is part of the document rules in Annex 3 of The Highway Code.
