Late at night you drive past a busy pub as people are leaving. Why should you take extra care?

- Pedestrians here will always use a proper crossing
- Some people may have been drinking and could step into the road unexpectedlyCorrect

Why?
Rule 146 says be prepared for the unexpected, and Rule 125 says reduce speed at night. People leaving a pub may be less aware of traffic and step out suddenly, so slow down and watch carefully.
