Why must you keep your windscreen and windows clean and clear?
- So the car looks well cared for to other drivers
- So nothing blocks your view of the road and other usersCorrect
- Because dirty glass uses more fuel
- Because the law bans any stickers of any kind
Why?
You can only react to hazards you can see. Annex 6 of The Highway Code says windscreens and windows must be kept clean and free from obstructions to vision, so clear off dirt and do not hang objects that block your view.
