Your trailer is used only a few times a year. Why should you still check its tyres carefully?

Why?

Rule 98 of The Highway Code requires the trailer to be roadworthy, and that includes its tyres. Trailer tyres that sit unused for long periods can crack and perish with age even when the tread looks fine, so check their condition and pressure before every trip.
