You are following a driving-school car with dual controls that stalls and restarts slowly on a hill. What is the best attitude?

Be patient and give the learner plenty of time
Correct
Sound your horn to make the instructor move on
Drive close behind to hurry the car along
Overtake at once, even where there is little room

Why?

Rule 147 of The Highway Code asks you to be understanding and patient, as other drivers may be inexperienced. A learner in a dual-control car is still practising, so hold back and give them time and space rather than pressuring them.
