You are approaching a zebra crossing and see people waiting at the kerb. What should you do?

Why?
Rule 195 of The Highway Code says at zebra crossings look out for pedestrians waiting to cross and be ready to slow down or stop to let them cross. Never wave people across, as another vehicle may be coming.
