Rules of the road
You are turning left into a side road. Just before you turn, what is most important to check for on your left?
- Cyclists or motorcyclists coming up on your leftCorrect

- Traffic in the road opposite turning right
Why?
Rule 182 of The Highway Code says to use your mirrors and signal left in good time, and to watch out for traffic coming up on your left before you turn, especially cyclists and motorcyclists. Do not overtake just before turning left.
